    Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have used Silent Roar lion pellets to keep cats off your garden? How did you find it and would you recommend it? I'd love to find out more about this before buying some.

    Many thanks,
    Matthew

:eek: Pro I am surprised at you...!! Did you not know that cat poo is..... Not for food gardens, due to the possiblity of toxoplasmosis contamination of the veggies.?

Get some chooks in your garden, our cats have a healthy respect for our Blackrocks and keep clear of them.

Well I tried it, applied it and found huge cat turds on my lawn the next day. Oh well. A BB gun and a flask full of strong coffee is the only way forward I think!

48 hours after I'd dug my veg bed and popped up a short trellis fence to keep the dog and kids out of it my cats weren't trying to use it as a huge litter tray. The secret - a small childs water pistol ;) My cats use a small flower bed with a climber in it as a toilet thats in my garden, I've got 4 cats and they've never 'been' in anyone elses garden to toilet themselves (they even come back to use their own).

All my cats (with the exception of TomTom) have always come indoors to use their litter tray! [IMG]

The risk of toxoplasmosis is tiny compared with the risk from germs off a table at pizza hut!

However responsible cat owners have a huge patch outside for their own cats and plenty-myself included have catmint growing around it.

Once Toni is out of my sight though how can I possibly know she goes elsewhere-she probably does. But I don`t particularly get on with my neighbours either-tree hating bar stewards whinging about my oak trees over shadowing their hot tub. If they he cared about his neighbours he wouldn`t expose us to the sight of his wife falling in and out of it! UGH!!

Get one of those megasoakers for them. Mines pump action-fantastic!!
