I'll look later. I think that @Sirius recommended them to me a year or two ago.

Hardy to zone 7 in a fairly dry climate for some though.
I am taking a real interest in SA bulbs but there is too much there to go through quickly :blue thumb:

LongK yes there is way too much and let`s not forget that usually SA plants are really slow too grow so it will be a slow process at the moment I`m pointing at very few plants and I thing we should point more at zone 7 , even if zone 8 will take -12c , but maybe in dry condition , if you notice it say about the raining side and that`s the one I`m pointing as well ...few I like so far

aloe ecklonis (from the raining mountain Zone7)

aloe reitzii (zone 7 dry )

xerophyta retinervis (zone7 dry i suppose)

I'll use this thread to "bookmark" certain plants as I work through.

      Aloe chabaudii
      [IMG]

      Aloe ramosissima
      [IMG]

      Aloe reitzii
      [IMG]

      That will do for now.

I'm really tempted with some of them, they would look great in my tropical area of my garden

I bought my Protea seed from them a few years ago.

Kind of like Erythrina zeyheri and I've always wanted to try a Leucadendron, sessile looks like a good one to start with.

@pete I was just looking at

                leucadendron comosum

not one of the best looking but apparently the hardy of all suppose to resist zone 7

                @longk

I was looking at Erythrina zeyheri , zone 7 again , not really pretty , but stunning flower worth try

                also noticed this one

                Moraea
                pritzeliana

                worth just for the leaves
                also

                Moraea stricta (zone 7)

plus we need to give a good look at it

                also

                Lachenalia
                zebrina
