    :) Just been to the local Church Carol service,a packed Church and lots of wonderful old Carols,it kind of lifted the spirit and was contemplating what it's all about.
    Anybody else enjoy the singing of Carols at this special time?

    I bet that has definately got you in the mood for Chrismas now Roders.

    There is a roundabout at the top of our road called the quadrant.

    Pedestians can walk through it to, as it has a garden in the middle and is surrounded by our local shops.

    Our Local church is holding a carol service there tomorrow.

    I'll certainly be there.:xmcndle::yho:

    Singing Carol's what?

    :hehe:

    Seriously, I love carols and will be in our little choir both for the evening carol service and the midnight mass (snow permitting!) In the evening service we're including Gaudete and Do You Hear What I Hear? Lovely songs!

    Happy Christmas everybody!

    Hi Roders.
    I haven't sung them for a while now but we used to go the church service every year with the boys and hold our little candle [probably not allowed now] and as for the nativities what can you say? Real tear jerkers!

    I too enjoy singing, but when I do out loud, everybody else walks out because I can't sing. LOL!

    :) I thought this verse was very apt.

    In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
    Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
    Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
    In the bleak midwinter, long ago.

    Hi Sparky yes i viewed that programme also. a good singing workout exercises the lung capacity and makes you more relaxed / gets the stress levels down, makes you feel more content/happy . i wish i could say the same
    FOR MY NEIGHBOUR!:yho: Music :cool:
