Sissinghurst Again.

The makers of this iconic garden Vita Sackvile West,author,poet and gardener a lady with a very colourful past and Harold Nicholson writer and diplomat.
They built this garden for their own pleasure and it has certainly stood the test of time.
Now owned by the National Trust it is now the family home of Vitas grandson
Adam Nicholson and his wife Sarah Raven who we know from TV.gardening and her flower seed range.They also have a home at Perch Hill.
Here is just a snapshot of this garden on a beautiful summers day viewed from the tower.

It really is a beautiful place. I never made it up the tower when I went on "Shilling Day" - there was quite a wait and I didn't have the time (it was a spontaneous trip).

Next time, I shall be more patient because the views you've posted look wonderful. (And, it doesn't even look that busy, either!)
