    I'd suppose you can ask pointers from your hosting provider before you buy.

    Some bits to double check especially if you are buying non- European products:
    • GDPR- if you hold any PII you must fulfil any data subject right requests within 30 days.
    • Copyright- who owns the content of your forum.
    • Data security.
