Can someone explain to me the differences between the two books below? My understanding is that the more expensive book has a more varied variety of plants where as the less expensive one is just a selection? also is there much point buying the RHS Encyclopedia of Plants and Flowers if I already owned the RHS A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants?

RHS A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants (£36.00)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/RHS-Encyclo...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220138959&sr=1-1

RHS Encyclopedia of Plants and Flowers (£17.49)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/RHS-Encyclo...=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220138640&sr=8-2

Oh also I managed to pickup an old 1992 edition of the RHS Encyclopedia of Gardening (for a £1.00:eek:) and I was curious to know if the newer edition has any significant changes? basically enough to go out and buy it:thumb:

    Thanks in advance!

Jee, I have the SMALL one and it's already a formidable book (and a deadly weapon, if you can toss it) the A-Z must be scary. WE WANTS IT!! GOLLUM GOLLUM!
