I bought some of those pick and mix bedding plants that come in plastic tubes.
I potted them on, put them in the porch and they've doubled in size in less than a fortnight!
Some of them, particularly petunias and verbena are looking just a little bit leggy and flowering already. They've had to go outside but forecast for next couple of weeks doesn't seem too bad
    My question is:
Should I give the leggy ones a hard pinch or hope that the increased light outside will sort them out?

I always think bedding plants are better if not flowering when going to their final position, they establish better. Personally I would give them a pinch here and there and remove any flowers, they might bush out a bit then and concentrate on a bit more vegetative growth before starting to flower.
