Slug and snail deterrant

Just had an email from Unwins offering a half-price Hydrangea - but on this email they are also advertising "Grazers Slug & Snail Deterrant" -which I haven't heard of before

It is a ready-to-use foliar spray - £6.99 (plus delivery) treats 30 sq.m

I haven't searched this to see a lower price/feedback yet

Would be excellent if it worked as I have a mouse/mice/squirrels who are eating the pellets (harmless to animals etc etc) that I am putting down, but it would mean I can grow hostas and the like again

Anyone tried this ?

I like the look of this - a bit pricey once you add delivery - best thing though it doesn't poison/kill them - I can still keep up my "hide and seek" vigil - but I won't get it yet until Unwins have Hostas on sale and they can share the delivery costs - that way I don't feel so guilty.

They also do one for rabbits, pigeon, deer and geese
