Slug Gel

Whilst in the nursery shop today spotted this Slug blocker gel, Has any one any experience of it? Anyway thought I'd give it a go it reckons to be water proof that must be a plus as the pellets I use tend to get washed away. Hope it works as I have just planted some expensive new Lilies!

 

Watch out for Lilly Beetle a bit later on - just in case that's not a pest that you've come across before; they will wreak havoc with your Lilies if left unchecked (a search here will no doubt find threads from late Spring / early Summer in previous years where we have all moaned about them!
