Thank you Tetters, ill see how it goes when it warms up, as mentioned more algae has appeared as its got colder and the pond plants have died down for the winter, also the bamboo has shed most of its leaves in the pond and wont be helping matters,

Ill take them out in the coming days before hopefully a few frogs turn up to breed :fingers crossed:.

Hi RW its doing fine thank you, i only had one fish through the winter and introduced three more in the spring time there doing great chasing each other around they look like they are enjoying there home,

Plenty of birds etc coming seen a few frogs and a few baby frogs are in and around the garden from the spawn i put in,

A lot of thought went into the position of the pond and i built a wooden construction not only to shade the pond to shade us as well we are south facing, it does get a little sun but the thought i put in has paid off, having the water moving must have really helped the fish and other wildlife in there,

I am really pleased with the grass i think it looks nice sat in the corner, i havent got round to making the waterfall due to the heat i didn't want the fish to be without it it does provide oxygen now its cooling down i will try and find time to finish it off,

Ive been neglecting the garden a bit but still managed to keep a nice green lawn.
