Hi All. I have loads of 1/2 size tray prop lids but none have vents in the top. For most purposes they are ok but need to buy some 1/2 lids with vents. I can see 2 types for sale so far.

Stewart which are clear plastic but will break if dropped, knocked too hard. The alternative are the Whitefurze lids. They have a sale in Wilko and had a windowsill prop kit with 3 trays & lids for £3.00 so I purchased.

They have the Whitefurze lids and are made of polypropylene so you can drop them and they will bounce. The only downside I can see if a downside is the lids are sort of opaque. Not sure in winter if this opaque will let enough light in to cuttings in winter??

You can buy the lids separate for under £2 but if no good I would rather pay for the more for the Stewart lids around £3.50.

Just wondering if anyone has used the Whitefurze lids in winter or have any opinions.
