Small tomato plants

I have ordered some tomato sweet and neat plants for growing in my mini-greenhouse.
Can anyone recommend what pot size I should grow them in ?

 

Bit early? (maybe they aren't begin delivered JUST yet ?)

You need to pot them on stage-by-stage - so if they come in 3" pots then once they are well rooted in those pot-on to 4.5", then 6" then 9" (all approximate, but my fingers are too chubby to pot on LESS than 1.5" diameter increment)

Final pot size of 12" is about right for Tomatoes in a greenhouse. If you have the "blo-away" type of greenhouse a growbag might be better, as they usually fit neatly inside and you can get probably 3 plants in one bag. If you choose a gro-bag you might want to choose the special type of pots that come with them that stand proud of the grow-bag and allow watering around the perimeter, and with gro-bags you tend not to dot he potting-on so much, but plant into the gro-bag at a significantly smaller size.

Tomatoes need to have a minimum (night time)temperature of 10C, so make sure they aren't planted in the greenhouse until you can maintain that temperature. (Obviously more easily achieved if you can heat the greenhouse)

 

I would've thought about 8" max dia of pot pot for these mini-toms, based upon what seed/plant suppliers have suggested, and what I've seen them growing in for sale.
