Your Smile for the Day!!!!

    Ear Infection

They always ask at the doctor's office why you are there, and you have to answer in front of others what's wrong and sometimes it is embarrassing.

There's nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients. I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this guy handled it.

A 65-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk.

The Receptionist said, 'Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?'

'There's something wrong with my dick', he replied.

The receptionist became irritated and said, 'You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that. '

'Why not, you asked me what was wrong and I told you,' he said.

The Receptionist replied; 'Now you've caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private.'

The man replied, 'You shouldn't ask people questions in a roomful of strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone.

The man walked out, waited several minutes, and then re-entered.

The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes??'

'There's something wrong with my ear,' he stated.

The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice.. 'And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?'

'I can't p*ss out of it,' he replied.

The waiting room erupted in laughter...

Very good. That one made me laugh:)

I once had to go to the doctors, it was a follow-up after a nasty chest infection. The doctors surgery had the world's most nosey, irritating girl on reception. In the mornings you didn't need an appointment between certain times, but I'd been told by the hospital that they'd sent my medical report to a specific doctor and I should see him for the follow-up. The doctor I had to see just happened to be a bloke. Lets call him Dr Bob, and the lady doctor who was also on duty that day can be Dr Sheila.

I announced myself to the nosey reception girl and said I would like to see Dr Bob please. She said loudly, 'why specifically Dr Bob? What's wrong with Dr Sheila? Women doctors can be just as good as male ones you know' (I'm not joking, that was her actual response). I hesitated for a minute, then replied 'I'm sure Dr Sheila doesn't want to see the massive puss filled boil that has appeared on my left testical'. Annoying Reception Girl went all embarrassed, and said 'Dr Bob it is then'. About half an hour later I Dr Bob was checking me out, and confirmed that all traces of my nasty chest lurgy were now gone, and no further treatment was necessary.
