Hi, I dont usually get much frost, gulf stream usually keeps it away. The last few winters have been mild. There are many small snails, 10mm diameter shells, in the garden and there numbers have been going up. They seem to climb into the foliage and just stay there while the delecious slug pellets are on the ground.
Is the frost, which is two inces into my soil, and three weeks old now going to kill most or some of the snails?

oh yes, its quite a killing winter for those garden pests
blackflies and weevels should suffer too,
although they can take quite a low temperature, still lots should die in this winter, especially that the strain what is in this island not that winter hardy i guess
    hope it makes sense
i gotta go to bed now and not talk rubbish ha
