Snapped Honeysuckle

    just bought a honeysuckle for my balcony and it was growing quite nicely and i snapped the top off will it be ok and will it grow back quickly :eek: :confused:

    Hi Rosa. Honeysuckle can be pruned very hard and will come back stronger than ever, so yours should be fine. [​IMG]

    You can also use the snapped off top to take cuttings. Honeysuckle usually roots very easily in moist compost. 'Cloche' the cuttings with a large stiff poly bag over the top of the pot making sure your cuttings don't touch the sides.

    thank you blackthorn and frogesque pleased to hear it will be fine and i threw it away not thinking i could use it as a cutting
