    My poor little cat was missing in the morning and I found her later in a nieghbors garden traped by a snare type wire round her waist I dont think it was the neighbor has done this on purpose, cat seems not to bad a but not her old self a trip to the vets to check her out ,

    Why arnt these things banned

    Oh my! She's a lucky cat not to have serious injuries or worse! Hope the visit to the vets goes ok

      I hope she is OK. you need to have a word with the neighbour and find out why the trap was there.

          Thanks to all for concern ,have returned from the vet and she is now on pian killers for a few days but vet dosent think there is any internal damage , They had one bought in a few days ago and it was so badly damaged it had to have its leg amputated so mine is lucky appears to be just bruising

              This one was found by our neighbour with its leg in a scissors type rat trap. The leg had to be amputated.

                People who put these out should be prosecuted if it does this to a cat, etc. Even if it's classed as criminal damage!

                  I saw the people whos garden my cat was in and preety sure it wasent there doing it was right at the bottom which backs on to fields , it could have been anyone after rabbits,
                  Sure its not them as they have young kids which run out the gate and they could just as easy have caught there feet in it.
