My poor little cat was missing in the morning and I found her later in a nieghbors garden traped by a snare type wire round her waist I dont think it was the neighbor has done this on purpose, cat seems not to bad a but not her old self a trip to the vets to check her out , Why arnt these things banned
Found this from the RSPCA's website, it may (or may not) be of use/info? http://www.rspca.org.uk/utilities/faq/-/question/ENQWADWhatIsASnare Sadly appears they're not illegal :(
Thanks to all for concern ,have returned from the vet and she is now on pian killers for a few days but vet dosent think there is any internal damage , They had one bought in a few days ago and it was so badly damaged it had to have its leg amputated so mine is lucky appears to be just bruising
This one was found by our neighbour with its leg in a scissors type rat trap. The leg had to be amputated. Glad your cat was unharmed.
People who put these out should be prosecuted if it does this to a cat, etc. Even if it's classed as criminal damage!
I saw the people whos garden my cat was in and preety sure it wasent there doing it was right at the bottom which backs on to fields , it could have been anyone after rabbits, Sure its not them as they have young kids which run out the gate and they could just as easy have caught there feet in it.
Glad your puss got off so lightly, Stu. Would dearly love to wrap the snare around the neck of whoever set it!
