Snoring Solutions ?.

What Snoring Solutions Would You Recommend ?.
My Wife is driving me round the bend with loud snoring .

She does the intake of breath through the mouth thing,with the noise from the back of the throat like an old creaky door.

She then exhales through her mouth with a Putt,Putt,Putt, Putt with her lips, like a car running out of petrol.

Any recommendations, apart from shooting her..

 

Now had it of been Mrs Music writing this post I'd have suggested a swift dig in the ribs but seen as it's Mr ...Does Mrs M sleep on her back if so gently manoeuvre her onto her side

There are all sorts of herbal sprays advertised and old wives tales of sleeping with a tennis ball down your pyjama top to stop you sleeping on your back!
Aside from that there are sleep clinics available on NHS, a sleep apnoea referral may be suggested, if she holds her breath between snores. There are ENT solutions .. operations to reduce palate / throat tissue, there are appliances like mouth guards or braces that hold lower jaws forward ........ But the most effective measures are usually weight loss, no alcohol before sleeping and give up smoking.
Snoring can be debilitating for both the snored and anyone disturbed by it. The associated chronic tiredness is known to be linked to road traffic accidents etc., so although snoring is often joked about, it is taken seriously by Doctors if you need help with managing it.
I listen to my IPod to distract me from OH snores, just helps me to drift off ..... Cheaper than a divorce too!

 

Obviously Lolimac you have not seen Mrs M. It would take a Block and Tackle to gently manoeuvre her onto her side..
