    That's some lodge!! And I like the parasol thing! But I wouldn't like a cedar of Lebanon quite so close to my house. Lovely place, that - you do have a nice area you work in, Paladin! [​IMG]

    It's on our Sunday walk,and just off the Cotswold Way footpath. [​IMG]

    our Sunday walk's the West Highland Way - and the best I've seen on the lower stretches is the Carbeth Hutters! Nothing like as picturesque!

    Very interesting! Do the tennents work on Estates or just rent and work elsewhere/croppers?

    mixed! I met one on one of the outer Hebrides one summer, who was very much involved in the legal wrangle - she was a school dinner lady! It's crofters, I presume you mean!!! She wasn't, but lots of them have other jobs, which is pretty much what crofters do!

    I think the bit beside the hutters is incredibly picturesque Dendrobium. Although obviously not as good as the West Highland Way gets farther on.

    Hi, Sawfish! Yes, I agree, and to get back to the original thread, sort of - I'm sure there are lots of snowdrops there at the moment!! :D
