So, cheesecake is off the menu then!

    Right, I've gathered eggs, fed and dealt with my birds and think "Hmm, I'll do a bit of cooking".

    Gather my bits and bobs and make:-

    ~ a vanilla cheesecake
    ~ a cheese and bacon flan (years since I've had this!)
    ~ a boiled fruit cake

    YDS asks what is ready and I cut the two lads a slice of warm flan for a late lunch.
    He takes one bite and has the audacity to *moan* that he doesn't like it; not if its got "cream in it with cheese"!

    I couldn't believe my ears!! My response? "So, cheesecake is off the menu then: that has cream and cheese in it" :heehee:

    Picky, picky, picky!!! :nonofinger:

          Proof, if proof were needed, that if you don't tell 'em what's in it, they're none the wiser. I recall a conversation many moons ago now, during which Mr. F'smum solemnly declared to a friend that he'd '.... never had soya mince' . That's what he thought!!! :loll:

          There was also a night when he was working and dropped by with a colleague. H said to me: can you warn me next time you feed D garlic? Well, Mr Mum was :huh: "I don't *eat* that muck!" :nonofinger:

          Grandkids would not touch Mayonaise, But loved the White Sauce they put on the chips in Italy (Europe) :-)
