So how come someone else thought of my original idea before me!?

Don't you just *hate* it when that happens?

So, I arrive home from work, weary and hungry. Forget Mr "M" wasn't going to be here so hadn't planned anything for tea (hoped he had :heehee: ). Nothing. Nada. ZILCH!

So, what to have that will be a) satiating and b) quick.

I mooch around the fridge ... hmm, not a lot to tempt me, but, a few almost-past-their-best-veggies. :noidea: Well, I quite like fried onions and tomatoes with a bit of garlic ... and there were some mushrooms that needed to be eaten or thrown ... then there was a red pepper going slightly wrinkly ... chop, chop, chop ... throw them in a frying pan ... oh no (!) .. a savoy cabbage that really should be used ... so that got thrown in towards the end, nicely shredded and to finish off ... once put into a bowl, a lovely garnish of ... finely grated cheese! :stirpot: (Nom-nom-nom, that'll do nicely thank you :) )

So, then I'm thinking, actually, this is really tasty! Clever me :heehee: Don't ask me why I did it, but I thought: I'll google stir fried veg with cheese - and some blighter had the flipping thought before me

Bang goes yet another "original" thought ... No wonder I've never made it in the "entrepreneurial" game.

Anyone else wish to confess to believing they have had an original thought, only to find you were actually the last to catch on? :heehee:

I once had an idea, inspired by grain silos on farms, and how it would be efficient to make something of the cyclonic action that is used within them on a smaller scale; indeed, they could even be stacked atop each other to increase the cyclonic vacuum, making it all the more efficient at domestic cleaning jobs. And just to cap it off, I thought that it could be made from plastics to make it as light as possible - - I mean, what an idea! I can even remember thinking to myself "Its the best idea you are going to have until you die son"

Well, blow me if some other blighter hadn't come up with the same idea!

It sucks, it really sucks :dunno:

Does it suck as strongly as a Dyson though? :dunno:

When I first began quilting as a hobby, I was also enjoying picking up pieces of hand embroidered linens from charity shops and I thought ... :ideaIPB: ... cor! ... bet those stitched together would make a unique quilt!!! Yup, some blighter had read my mind a few decades (or possible a century or two) before hand and stolen *that* original thought too  :mute: *stamps foot smilie*
