It is used for making explosives, so it is a banned substance
    Use something simpler :)

Certainly not Roundup ... I just bought a very small bottle of concentrate for £22
The point you make is a good one ... I am finding that the cost of weedkillers is becoming prohibitive

You can make bombs out of any branded weed killer . . .
throw away the solution and fill the container with potassium nitrate and crushed carbon. You have made a bomb!! or anything in a tin?
R U doing chelsea this year?

Borax is an option, anything over 10mg/L is toxic to plants.
It doesn`t break down after 6months like sodium chlorate so be aware if you go mad .. it could lay waste to that area for several years

    I have used one Pete
It is only a temporary measure and they can be quite a dangerous article to use

One of the other guys in my area has suggested bayer glyphosate concentrate at a tenner for 1 litre is about the best buy so I shall give that a try. he says that its better than ready to use roundup.... 1 litre will do 40 galls at a stretch and kills nettles if you stick to the prescribed doseage.

I have a flame gun, and to put it simply it doesn't take any prisoners! Accuracy is not the name of the game, as the flame is so huge! It works well on large areas, like a path or landing strip :)
