Soil from old pots

    I have massive pots want to paint them mean while what to do with its soil can I use it for leveling garden and can I use it mixed with new compost to sow new seeds but on the ground and fill the pots with new compost?

    I put my old compost in the compost bin along with the usual stuff.

      Well, as I use the old compost from pots on my borders and hoe it in ... plus direct sow appropriate seeds into those beds ... the answer must be ... yes :heehee:
      Definitely fresh compost in the newly painted pots :thumbsup:

        I put old compost on the flower beds. The fertility is gone but the organic matter will be worked in by the worms and improve soil structure.
