soil sterilisation

    hello peeps, this is a very technical question does anybody know anything about Hoddeson pipes, apparently there used for soil sterilisation. [​IMG]

    Interesting article that one D. Looks like if you overheat you kill the "goodies" and risk getting even more "baddies".

    Though it didn't seem to worry my grandfather who use a galvanised bucket atop his solid-fuel greenhouse boiler.
