    Would John Innes No 3 mixed with grit be suitable for cacti ?
    I need to repot mine and have some J I No 3 going spare and thought I might use it up on my cacti if it's any good for them ...

    That's what I use Michael, I tend to just add more grit or sharp sand depending on what type of cactus it is.
    I put some multipurpose in if its an epiphytic cacti.
