Thought today was the perfect day so went for a walk down on the beach with my camera.. got totally carried away, nearly fell off a cliff, then nearly fell off the side of slippery deep gorge, lots of fun, but also completely knackering.

Thanks :) I don't think they'd be as good as they are without the amazing scenery, Ive lived here all my life, I see this alot, but I never get fed up of it, you'd think you'd take it for granted seeing this a lot, but it never gets old.

People might raise an eyebrow but when you see Wales as much as I do, you have to consider yourself practically partly Welsh! (Genetically I am partly Welsh anyway but I wasn't born there), being on the border and looking over there every day, it is as much part of our lives as England is, but who needs to be there when you have these views? I'd say I'm in a more priviliged place than people living on the other side!

Lovely pics, I was there last weekend, my mad dog run down that cliff in the 11th photo, nearly gave me a heart attack!

Those cliffs are very unstable, it's a wonder they have lasted as long as they have without more erosion!

Yes it's the Dee Estuary, the west side, pictures are from Heswall and Thurstaston.
