Some Mesebryanthemums and other succulents, and dry tolerant plants around town.

    sorry for the long winded title. (these are not my plants)

    First bunch are Lampranthus, at different locations around our town...

      Very nice.
      The steep slopes they are planted on probably increases drainage.

      Nice, love that Daisy, actually I love most of the Daisy family :dunno:.

      Here in Northampton we have entered the Britain in bloom celebrations (is it 50 or 75 years?), Ha! all we have are some planters filled with Petunias hanging off some of the railings at road junctions, not seen 1 hanging basket ! I covered the whole of our Town center this morning looking for a hat, and that is all I saw.

      I did read that the council were hoping to inspire 'neighbour hoods' to get creative.... well perhaps if they kept their part of the 'hood neat and tidy and cut the grass areas more frequently, then some of us would try a little harder.

      Having said that, I keep the grass around my house cut, and have planted up around my back wall, let's just hope nobody complains!
