    Hi,

Does anyone know what is eating my beans? One plant has been eaten almost to the ground and the others are looking a bit worse for wear (notably worse at the ends of the bed). A broccoli further down the same bed appears to be meeting the same end.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mark

What would you recommend as a cure on edible plants? Or would you just put down pellets?

A lumphammer and or pellets, they can range quite a distance. I've often looked for the offender without success.

Beer traps are good, at least you'll see them in the morning to confirm that they are whats causing the damage.

Pick them off and feed them to the birdies.

Thanks both of you for the replies. I shall be liberally sprinkling when I am next at home.

Mfirth, the problem is likely to be Keel slugs, DO NOT liberally sprinkle slug pellets about as this can affect the local wildlife. Do, however, use them as directed on the container.:dbgrtmb::D
