Hi, I was on earlier, closed this (& so net) while I was busy then came back on.

the info at top of page is saying I was last here 'yesterday at 04.49 pm' How can that be? I have posted today & the posts are showing. What is going on?

Also, what are the 'member' regulations on here now? I see 'senior' members that have only joined this year, that's not right. Surely you have to acknowledge the members that have been here for a few years. Since starting up I believe. I am not one only a junior since i have only been here a year or so.

Appreciate how hard it is to set up new site, database whatever but please try and sort this out.

Thanks & look forward to hearing from you.

    Sandra

Well my opinion on the matter is wether a member has been here 5 mins or 1 year the status should be decided by a number of things i.e How helpful and How many posts they have.

I understand where borrowers is comming from but at the end of the day its up to Admin what happens with this quality Garden forum.

Or some sort of reputation system
ITs only my opinion  :eek:

If you want to see how long someones been a member then look at the post count.

Personally i think the senior member junior member thing is simply a bit silly, rather like when I was a kid at primary shool and they used to give out star stickers.

You get a house point for that Paul and two gold stars.:D

I think it should be dropped entirely, myself.

Senior member does make everyone sound a bit, ...welll.....OLD.

Sandra, I think the fact that its saying you were last on yesterday, when in fact you were on earlier today has to do with cookies, they remember what you did last and so you can see such items as New Post etc.
Did you turn off your PC between visits?

Does not bother me whether anyone is senior or Junior its the posts they post that I read and enjoy or not enjoy.

Nothing really to get upset about.

Also have to say I much prefer the old site .

Mine looks OK. Could it be the TimeZone setting in your Profile? Maybe it thinks you are in Timbuktu ...

:D Have to confess I'm an honary Geordie. My mum was a Geordie & I spent a lot of holidays here when i was growing up. then at 35 I moved here permanently. Great sense of humour up here. Love the accents. You should be in this house sometimes as I slip into my ' 'amshire 'og ' (don't let my mum hear me speak like that!)voice & o/h goes full pelt Geordie - we crease up.

    cheers
