    Hi Everyone

Can someone please help me if possible.I have ressurected in the Non Gardening Disscussion thread my thread I started about Mr Kandy packing up smoking.I have just written a post out twice because it looked like the first lot I had written didn't work when I pressed submit and now when I look at the list of things on the very front page of the site I can see that I have posted something but when I look back at the last page I see nothing there, only the last post by borrowers but no sign of my posts after that so I havn't a clue whether both of my submissions are there or not.

Also I am finding again that I am trying to post things I have written on a few threads only to lose them again.I was hoping i had got over that problem

    Thanks Kandy:)

I can't help you Kandy but I tried clicking on your post that shows up on 'New Posts' and also only get borrowers post from June

I would contact admin if I were you :thumb:

    Hi Kandy

We have this same problem with the original Mystery Object, the original Brugmansia thread and Paladin's Work thread. The problem has been reported to Richard but I'm not sure that there is a remedy to retrieve the missing pages. The other three threads have been re-started which is a nuisance as the Brug and Pal's thread have very valuable information 'locked' in them.

This problem happened with Wakey, wakey earlier this year and somehow it managed to 'right' itself.

I'm sorry I can't offer any further advice than this.

Hi Sandra I have just looked and the last post from you shows as 9.6.08,although it shows on the front that you have posted tonight so yours has gone to post the two I did this afternoon floating round somewhere:cnfs: Thanks though for trying:thumb:

In a way I wish I hadn't tried to bring it forward because members might post on there only to lose them which is a bit of a waste of time:oops:

Thanks Dee,he has found it hard the last couple of months due to stress at work, which I have written about in the two lost posts,as for the health,he wasn't happy to begin with about putting on a couple of lbs in weight as if he needs to worry {skinny sod} :ywn:and has picked up every bug going in the last seven months whereas when he was the smoker I was the one who got all the bugs especially at Christmas time,so will see what happens this year:p

I shall enjoy pinning the medal on him and watching him deflate:hehe:

    PS love your glittery Gifs:gnthb:

    :scratch:How weird:cnfs: There's a good conversation going on somewhere out there:D

Oh well, hopefully it'll pop up or you could start a new one? Funnily enough, I asked about weight gain in my post! Also whether his taste had improved.

    I tried:wink:

    cheers

This has happened to me.... but I think that it's because I've hit the "Preview Post" button not the "Submit Reply"... and then moved on, thinking I'd posted... but hadn't.

Sorry, it's a 'system' problem guys as far as the 'old' links go and perhaps .... perhaps that can be sorted out .

Starting a new thread that has been 'locked' is a good idea and I encourage that as Pal and others have done ....

we MUST move forward if somehow we have gone backwards ...

 It is an awful shame about the "locked" threads Kandy & everyone as we have lost allot of information....
:( Unfortunately that goes with the territory... The change over was difficult, as it is for any forum to make that massive change..... But you know we were lucky.. !!

:(Other forums have not been so lucky & have never recovered from their change overs in such a quick way with next to no "Down Time".... :thmb: We have....

Sadly we have lost a few important threads, but as LoL says, we need to get on top of them & start new ones to carry the old ones on... The new & old threads can be merged I am sure, to make a complete thread again & over time the lost information will be covered again..!!:thmb:

:thumb: So Kandy, as Mr Kandy has done so well & against some very strong & stressfull moments, why not start a new one..!! Maybe we could then merge it.! You could call it.....

    7 Months Down The Line...:thumb:
    Or something similar...

He has done very well. Stress from work is the hardest to overcome too..:cl-p:Well done Mr Kandy..!!!! You will be wide open for germs though for a while until your immune system is running well again, because strangely, smoking does actually keep allot away for some reason... :hehe: Perhaps the germs take one look at the smoker & think.... "Not going there"......!! :lollol:Plenty of vits this winter to compliment all the lovely cooking of your own produce...!!!!:gnthb: Well Done you two ..!!
