something's eating my tomatoes

I grew tomatoes in my this year in my greenhouse for the first time. Have got a fantastic crop but some little blighter's been eating a few of them! Any ideas as to what I can do to stop this? I saw teeny wee flies eating away to their heart's content but not sure if they're the culprits or are just joining in for the free meal!

only my grandson Roy and he's not allowed in the greenhouse! He doesn't like tomatoess either! Don't know where he gets that from cos his mum's like me and has a tomato in one hand and the salt cellar in the other! He's going back to Scotland today - boy am I going to miss him!!

sorry to hear that your Grandson is leaving you! Do you see much of him? Cheap flights back and forth from N Ireland to Scotland these days.

Anyhow, what about posting a pic on the GC website and I would bet that some of the experts here would be able to advise you further. Or cut a few of the holed tomatoes open and see if the culprit is there within, therefore making identification a sinch, hopefully.
