I've started to plan our private space where, hopefully nobody will know we are there. The wall is being built to hold up the parking area but I'm going to plant lots of dangly plants to make it more interesting. The greenhouse is staying where it is but Bunny is going to be moved nearer to the drive. Lots of ideas swishing about at the moment but nothing too definate yet, except no grass and I must have a water feature and a fence to grow clematis up, and somewhere to sit in comfort.

The wall is going to be faced with stone and the ground levelled because at the moment there is no where to sit upright! I'll let you know how it progresses.

Looking forward to that, Celia! It really helps to have privacy, doesn't it? We're lucky that we have an enormous garage in a strange postion that lets us have a whole cottage garden as a secret garden! :D

Yes, Celia, I look forward to seeing your new private space. I think it's very important to have such ... although by your big garden (from what I remember initially) you've got lots of places to hide! :D

Hello WG, we're not far from the North coast in Camelford. We've only been here a year having emigrated from Derbyshire, though originally we come from Sheffield.
