What a pretty snail!

We couldn't get the garden started the other week for me shouting "STOP, save that snail!" every two minutes!

 

On the window ledge by the back door, easy to grab, or there`s one in the greenhouse but it`s gone damp.

 

WOW !!!!! I have at last found another snail lover!!!

 

See now Val, the girls at work thought I was mad last week when I told em the tale of a friendly slug that used to visit my kitchen, I called him Duggie and could SWEAR he lifted his head to me when I called out "morning Duggie", I used to hand feed him tiny pieces of lettuce.....

.....now dont tell anyone else that story will you? sssshhhh let it be our secret!

 

I remember walking into my mothers kitchen, old house, in the dark and treading on something squishy , at the time she had a cat who took lumps off the feed dish to eat, I swore "&!**£^ Tilly" put the light on and it was a huge slug, grabbed some paper towel and introduced him to a journey through the sewers.
