So many things popping up and not sure what they are or even if they belong in a garden.

The first two are the same plant. Growing where two trees were, so I'm thinking weed. The good thing is it is a magnet for aphids and despite this plant being fairly close to my vegetable patch, they haven't moved onto it - yet.
I don't have many of the next two types of plant.
The last one I would love more :luv:

 Hi Louise, I cannot see your fern type plant well enough, any chance of some bigger pics of that.?
:thumb: As for the white & purple ones, they are Garden Phlox - Phlox paniculata, an old cottage garden flower & a lovely scent as well, mine are looking about the same & the last is a Californian Poppy - Eschscholzia californica.. Lovely flowers I have a self seeding patch.. :thumb:

Thank you. I don't know how you know so much but it's great that you do.

Here is another one of the fern, I managed to fold back some leaves and find a flower head.

OK, looking at that flower hear I would say Mugwort - Artemisia vulgaris.. Mugwort is widely used in herbal medicine including use as a diuretic..!!

    Thanks again.
I think the previous owner may have dabbled in that kind of thing.
