Hello! I've got a few strawberry plants, don't know what variety, they were a gift. At the start of the fruiting, they were delicious and looked gorgeous but some now look very ripe but less plump, almost slightly dehydrated, and the seeds are pronounced. They haven't changed from nice fruit, they've just ended up like this. They are tough and sour. Have I not watered them enough? I've looked around and can't find any reason for it. They made a very nice strawberry cake though, and will go in some jam tomorrow, but you can't eat them raw.:(

    Cheers for any thoughts, Liz
