south american plants/trees advice please

hi
iam new to gardening and need some advice. i own breed and rear african and s.american parrots. i would like to plant up an avairy approx 6m wide x 6m deep x 2m high with s.american plants and trees. the problem is they need to be non toxic, require minimum maintainence and be able to survive the weather in nw england. the aviary will be shielded from wind on 3 sides and approx 60% of the roof will be open to the elements.
i hope someone can help me in this quest to make as natural environment as possible for some of my parrots

These are trees from the south american rain forests that are edible for iguanas and should be ok for parrots

 

hi all, and many thanks for your answers. i will follow the links tmrw and see what i can find out. please be prepared for more questions tho, as im a total novice at gardening!
as for parrot photos, i have thousands. you just have to give me an age you would like to see them at, from a couple of days old to fully grown, and i can supply hundreds!
