Nice one Nick!! Sounds like you have been havin fun!! Yes we DO want to see some pics of all your efforts. Seeing your seeds start to pop up is quite exciting as well! B&Q is a good place to get compost as is Wickes. I've gone through 350 ltrs in less than 2 weeks! DON'T buy the peat free stuff, it's HORRIBLE!!! Make sure you take pics of everything too!!!

Well done Folly Mon. There is loads of pleasure to be had from growing seeds - long before you can get out and do any proper gardening.

Not all of it ... tests in Which? and RHS last year found some brands that were at least as good as Multi-Purpose, if not better. Buy, yeah, they found loads of Brands that would be better used as a weedkiller !

Good luck with them all.....they should do great for you.

I was going to sow mine today, but i ended up getting a closet door in the face (dont ask), and had to go to the hospital for 8 stitches, so maybe later this week.

I don't use a "sive riddle Thingy ma jig" - just the veg strainer from the kitchen!!

                        Good luck FM!!

                              Well done Nick.
I love this time of year. It's the expectation of what's to come that does it for me:)
Just a word of caution. I remember when I first got into gardening in a serious way. I was like a kid in a sweet shop, and bought/planted just about everything that caught my eye. In no time I ran out of space, which meant that a lot of stuff got wasted, stuff that I really wanted. So, try to make sure you consider where your plants are going to go....and enjoy! :blue thumb:
