    Hello all
Thank you very much for allowing me to join your forum.
I am just beginning to learn about gardens now.
I have come to live in England from Spain where we live in flats/apartments so I have no previous experience.
One thing I love about Britain is the way people generally live in houses and have lovely little gardens.
My front and back gardens are a complete mess and I am gradually trying to find out how to work with them to make them pleasant.
Gardeners here in Britain seem to charge splendid prices! I wonder why I bothered to go to university and become a linguist!! I am a translator and spend far too m much time at the computer so I hope as the weather improves I will find I can enjoy my gardens more.
I am very sorry that I cannot contribute much helpful advice but will try to keep you posted on my efforts.
Once again thanks for letting me in.
    Spanish Gardener

    Hi Spanishgardener,

Welcome to the forum, and to a new interest that may very well become an obsession.

Welcome Spanishgardener. Everyone starts off knowing nothing. But the more you listen and chat the more you learn.

Welcome to the forum Spanish Gardener.
I hope you enjoy your garden. It can be a great way to get to know your neighbours. Just speak to people you see in their gardens - they will love to talk about their gardens with you.
