Special treat

This year for my birthday the family bought me a concert ticket. So on Saturday youngest son took me to Old Trafford to see Genesis. I think the hearing has just about returned. It was some show!!!.

Yes it was a fantastic concert. Just a shame it took us ages to get away. We parked at the Lowry in Salford Quays as did a lot of other people. There is really only one way out and the road was blocked. So everyone in the multistorey was stuck for well over an hour. Did not get home till 1.45. But it was worth it. I don't get let out too often!!!
My son who has been to a lot of rock concerts thought it was about the best stage set he had seen. His photos are much better than mine. He has a Nikon SLR with a long zoom lens, but more importantly he is a better photographer.

 

Glad you enjoyed it Geoff. Have to say those photo's are incredibly professional, I wish you had been with me at the Rolling Stones gig in Glasgow a few years ago to take some!
