There are a lot (and I mean a lot) of spiders in my lawn and I would like to get rid of them if possible.

There are no webs but a lot of small holes which I think they live in. Do spider dig holes?

Does anyone know if there is a child-friendly way of getting rid of these damn things?

    Thanks

    Matthew

I haven't come across this before - whereabouts in France are you?

I guess the obvious answer is to try ant killer and see if that works - or maybe even wasp killer? If you go for the powdered stuff you can put it in the holes themselves. I honestly don't know if it would work or not, but worth a try maybe?

Why do you want to kill them, though? They are unlikely to be doing any significant harm [at least in my experience].

Do you have any fruit trees or vines nearby? It seems to me to be more likely that they are living there.
