Just a few pics of my garden at the moment.

 

Love the irises, such a deep blue.

 

They are one of my favorites. I wish they sold the bulbs while they were flowering because by the fall I forget about them then come spring wish I had planted more!!

Now add a Trachicarpus fortunei to your tropical garden. Frost hardy to at least -10.

 

I used to have one. Last winter killed it along with about 10 other plants. Played it safe this winter and put them in the greenhouse.

Things are just starting to come into bloom in my garden, although I do have a dwarf Rhododendron which is flowering already.

 

So what is the palm by the wall? looks like a Kentia but it wouldn't be outside in March, would it?

 

That one is a chamaerops humilis. I kept it in the greenhouse this past winter with the door open mostly so it didn't get too wet. I lost one of these as well last year.

 

A taste of the exotic is always nice!
