Is it too early to sow spring onions and radishes outdoors? I am hoping to have some lettuces to plant outdoors in the next couple of weeks, and would really like to have some of the other salady bits to go with them?

    Hiya FC.

No, it's not too early, get some in:blue thumb:Worth noting, don't sow too many Radish at once, maybe sow a 2ft row every two weeks, and pull when not too big.

      Wotcha Freddy :)

Thanks - I will get another couple of the deep bags cleared of last year's compost and get sowing. Each bag is sort of divided into three, and each third should cope with a couple of 18-inch rows (maybe three at a push), so my idea is to sow from one end working to the other with a couple of weeks between sowing each row, and by the time I get to the end we will have pulled the first ones making space for another sowing.
