Will keep this brief as I know all the work is going on in the background (site very quick this a.m. btw).
Got more spring onions than I'm eating (taste lovely so not complaining!). The ones left in the ground are swelling up at the bulb a bit. I'm happy with this providing it will not ruin the taste. Will it taste roughly the same as they get bigger? or get that slightly over the top taste that is sometimes associated with elderly veg?

    Thanks

As they bulb up they'll be like the normal round onions, taste shouldn't be much difference, if they're mild enough to eat raw now then you should be able to eat em raw bulbed up.

If not then fry em :)
