9 Spring planting bulbs of garlic for £6.49, supposedly saving only £5.48 http://www.thompson-morgan.com/vege...arlic-sets/spring-garlic-collection/aww4118TM

    Consisting of:

    3 x Picardy Wight @ £4.49 http://www.thompson-morgan.com/vege...nd-garlic-sets/garlic-picardy-wight/aww4107TM

    2 x @ Wight Christo @ £4.49 http://www.thompson-morgan.com/vege...garlic-wight-cristo-spring-planting/aww4077TM

    4 x 'T&M's Choice' @ £5.49 http://www.thompson-morgan.com/vege...lot-and-garlic-sets/garlic-tm-choice/p92415TM

I make the total £14.47 (£4.49 + £4.49 + £5.49). As these are being sold for £6.49, I make that a saving of £7.98, not the £5.48 as stated on their website.

T&M are currently issuing codes for £10 off a £30 spend with every order at the moment wich will get an order of 5 spring planting packs of 9 garlic bulbs down to £27.40 for 45 bulbs, so 60p/bulb incl P&P.

If you're a Quidco cashback user there's 12% cashback, which according to my calcs (and which I've just ordered through) gets the cost of a bulb of spring planting garlic down to 53.5p (incl P&P) - does anybody know of a better deal than that?

P.S. I have a spare T&M £10 off £30 code going spare and if any regular poster here wants it please 'PM' me.

P.P.S. 45 bulbs may sound like rather a lot of spring planted garlic, but I'm also planting 90 saved cloves of elephant garlic and 100 cloves of Music hardeck garlick to overwinter, but I can assure you that we'll eat them all (less what we re-sow).

I did something rather silly after posting the above. When there was a 20% off everything and I also had a voucher to use I ordered another 2 of those bargain packs.

I've now planted all my spring garlic and, including my autumn planted garlic, have about 700 garlic cloves planted (and loads of odds & ends left over for use in the kitchen).
