sprouting broccoli

    I have just received some white and purple sprouting broccoli seeds is it too late to start them off. I was going to start them in trays in the green house and plant them out when large enough to plant out.

    Its getting a bit late really, I sowed some at the end of June last year and it never really caught up with my earlier sowings.

    I agree, I think it's a bit late.
    If you really fancy some broccoli though you could get some "Raab 60 days" seeds, they will still grow in time. They are like miniature sprouting broccolli, and you eat the whole plant, leaves and all.

    thanks for that got the seeds from T&M half price sale will save for next year then.
