Hi I wonder if anyone can help, a couple of months ago I bought 2 plum trees a Stanley and a Victoria.

They have both been treated the same but the victoria is in full bud/leaf but the stanley is showing no sign of life at all.

The Stanley is abut about 6 ft high (the victoir about 4ft) and if i stratch the stanley trunk its nice and green just no sign of any budding at all.

Is it on its way out already?

    Thanks
    Jules

Hi Jules. I guess you bought them at Wilko's because I bought a Stanley as well. Still dormant here too. I also bought a cherry, a comice pear, a Cox and Granny S. apple and an apricot which are all in bud and/or blossom. Plus a peach that is showing no signs of life. I shan't worry too much until next year. If neither does anything then, I'll have £10 worth of firewood.
