Starbucks, free coffee grounds

    We came to centreParcs yest, and popped into Starbucks for a vanilla spiced hot choccy (which was mingin btw!) and they are giving away the used coffee grounds, labelled free for the garden! Happee dayz, should get myself a few bags before we come home!!

          I hope that bag that they're in is an old reused bag that the beans came in, rather than a brand new bag just for putting the grounds in.

          What happen to your diet ???????? :biggrin:

          I use lots of them in my compost , but all come out my italian coffee machine , didn`t like it in my potted plants as it would create a strange mushroom , heard that the smell will keep snails away , sure not the italian snails ;).

            Apparently they use the same bags that have been used to smugling the money abroad :nonofinger:

              I saw this last year at Elvedon and meant to get some before we left, but then forgot. Must remember this year, we are going again in July :)

              There have been many posts here over the years about the free coffee grounds from Starbucks and other such coffee houses ... but thanks for reminding everyone! :thumbsup:

              The landlady at my local pub/eaterie is keeping them for me too, so should be ok for the foreseeable!
