    Hi Folks!

Having enjoyed sorting out the front garden, I'm moving into the back!!

A couple of quick shots - taken in my jim-jams this morning! Don't know if the work pc will let me go to photobucket, so doing this before work!!

It only uploaded one pic but more close ups to follow! Below what you can see there's a lawn, then a 4' wall down to a patio - v hot in the sun!

The fence at the rear has blown in so will need replacing - I'm thinking of moving the 3 fence panels back from the mid bit and facing the breezeblock wall with some Cornish stonework.

The top shrubs are all mature and I'll probably want to simplify the area so I have access to it. There's an apple tree to the right of the large hydrangea and a rose too. Thinking I'd like a veg patch, but not sure if there's space up there, but there's only 2 of us to eat them!! Anyone got any suggestions?

The lower level is half lawn and half woodchip covered with lots of weeds. There's a manhole cover just to the left of the bird table platform in the pic. Any ideas? Anyone had one moved?

The hedge is just coming into flower and down the other side of the garden is just a panelled fence and path.

More as it progresses... :D :D

Hi! A bit more info on my garden and planning ideas! Grateful for any input as I'm likely to tear everything out else and might miss the blatently obvious!! What would you do? [IMG]

The fence at the rear has blown in so will need replacing - I'm thinking of moving the 3 fence panels back from the mid bit and facing the breezeblock wall behind with some proper Cornish stonework.

There's a manhole cover in the middle - and not a very attractive one!! Any ideas? Anyone had one moved?

The hedge is just coming into flower and down the other side of the garden is just a panelled fence and path. I'm happy with both and I don't want to bother the neighbours!

More as it progresses... :D :D

So I took the back fence out yesterday! posts rotted right through! Gate had to come off too! I started cutting back the lush greenery beside the steps - I think it's irises, but they never flowered. Looking at how they've spread, how hard the ground is, and how big those hydrangeas are I've decided to get a quote to clear it. It's gonna take loads of bags to send it via roadside collection!!

Found another drain cover!! Still needs a bit of digging out but I'm glad I brought in a man and van coz it would have taken ages else!! [IMG]

Excited about the possibility of a veg patch in time! Better get cracking!!
