Ive tried one at the dealers, Wasnt impressed mind you i didnt like the olds HS 75.

The engine unit is taken from the domestic model, also the engine stop switch is flimsy, the air filter is also a torx driver job and two screws to unndo to clean it rather than the husquvarna that uses a tommy screw.

I always used to find that the engine stop cable was forever melting/ snagging on the hs 75, consequently i used to carry a crimper in the van and some sapare cable. Didnt look at how theyve routed the cable on the new machine.

Id go for a husquvarna. To be honhest I think stihl have lost the way with the profeshional kit were as husquvarna have invested hudgely and literally completly redesighned some of the machines from scratch.

If you want a spare HS75, you can have my old one, Its been sitting about my workshop for two years and the reality of it is that if the husqy broke id just buy another rather than use the stihl. Pm me if you want it and its yours for nowt.

Intresting you say that about the swivel handle, My old stihl has the fixed handle as of course do the single siders. Ive always wondered what good a swiveling handle would be as ive never wanted to change my hand position.
