Seen a stone or stone replica bird bath that looks quite nice for £45 that seems very reasonable. Anyone know of any other good places to get a basic stone / stone effect birdbath, around 2 and half foot tall and solid.

Always have birdbaths at my local garden centres that are nice, but you don't live near Chester so bit far to come! :(

Thanks for the thought Paladin and thanks for all the help.

Will probably get the £45 one this morning as on the Internet they seem pretty expensive. Will just check out the local garden centers one more time before returning to the curio shop.

A picture of our new bird bath, thought I'd put it here for insurance purposes in case it's not there tomorrow. :( :D

    Thanks mef750,

The birds well being may of been of secondary importance in my reasons for buying it :D Looked at a garden centre and most were the same price as this one but not a colour or a pattern that suited our garden.

I think I will once I've sorted out the bed properly. I think garden thefts has quite a high record of incidences in the last few years. I have two pad bolts on the garden gate though so I have a little bit of protection.
