    ....I'm loving it!

Okay, not ideal but make the best of this WET, cool weather, salad crops will suffer but winter crops will thrive, root veg doing remarkably well, brassicas too until those "tree tree" pigeons got them :(

Getting loads of courgettes and French beans, greenhouse toms, cucumber and peppers all awaiting the promised summer later next week!

Almost given up on the allotment, it's a quagmire but at least I'm getting some produce out of it..... roll on next season.

Bye the bye, just dug up 2KG of mixed spuds where I didn't plant any! (this year):lunapic 130165696578242 5:

It's OK :dbgrtmb:. The ground is nice and wet and the warm weather is on its way. Just what the plants ordered. :)

The Olympics will appreciate some dry weather too.
Us non-Olympics members can all stroll up to Armandii's garden and enjoy the verdant landscape through a glass of something....

OK, a tongue in cheek post but us veggie growers have to adapt to ever changing conditions?

The only things up my (new) allotment that's doing well are my courgettes and French Beans, Tatties are crap BUT I did plant a few in the garden (Charlottes?)

Now under orders to grow more next year!

It's been a disappointing veg growing season so far but "Don't give up", Nature has a habit of biting you in the bum?

Re Weather, I have never seen so many slugs and snails I walk out in the evening with my little dogs and in the dark it is scrunch scrunch...but the good news is no sunshine, no butterflys, no caterpillars,

The local countryside stinks of rotting vegetation/crops:

I fertilized a small garden with bat guano yesterday ... so, I'm glad that it's raining (it's still raining now) ... looks like dry weather next week
